Eugenie lives and works as a writer/editor in the Baltimore metro area. Suburban neighbors gave her funny looks 14 years ago when she planted a vegetable garden in the front yard, but now they're planting their own box gardens. Her first editorial/research job was assisting Eva May Hamilton, chemist and co-author of the classic, Understanding Nutrition. She continues her life-long interest in nutrition, environmental justice, freedom from violence, healing, and the natural world. Last year her non-fiction narrative, "Single Mom Buzzard" was published in Freshly Squeezed, an anthology edited by Chris Stewart.
