I have just discovered your blog and am looking forward to keeping up to date with it.

I have an allotment (similar to a community garden plot) in Scotland and grow many of my own vegetables. Now with the winter season kicking in, I will be turning to cooking dried bean dishes. And one of the ways to be environmentally friendly in the kitchen is to use a pressure cooker. Would you believe it, I could not find one (electrical) retailer selling any. Plenty of slow cookers, but not pressure cookers. I was so annoyed.
