I found a copy of Recipes from an Ecological Kitchen in a used book store last year and I love it, and I'm not a vegetarian. I tried to spread the word about her over on Mother Nature Network in a post (http://www.mnn.com/food/cooking-recipes/blogs/cookbook-recipes-from-an-ecological-kitchen), but your the first other blog I've seen mention her. Surprising, isn't it?

I'm going to point to this post today in my Friday Food news on MNN - hopefully more people will start to take notice of Sass' cookbooks.

Delighted to see Sass getting more of the public recognition she and her books -- full of tasty recipes -- that she deserves. Readers are sometimes distracted from what true quality is: your post will point some more people in the right direction. Quinoa for all! Kamut you very much ---

Bravo! For years I have recommended Great Vegetarian Cooking Under Pressure to get people to cook beans and grains quickly and with taste. I still refer to it almost daily - Lorna Sass was WAY ahead of her time and should be receiving much more attention. Her recipes are very tasty and easy.
