Who knows where food comes from? According to this disturbing article from Wednesday’s New York Times, most of the folks who manufacture and distribute food products don’t know where their ingredients come from. (hat tip to Naomi Starkman)

Growing offsets Bloomberg.com reports that farmers are getting into the carbon offset business.

Great food meets new media NPR has a great piece on Kogi, “a modern variation of the taco trucks” and one of LA’s hottest new eateries, which uses Twitter to report its location and specials. They have over 8,000 followers on Twitter, and patrons have even made fan videos on YouTube.
