I just wanted to point to Kerry's article about this on Alternet - http://www.alternet.org/environment/120601/here%27s_how_to_eat_sustainably_on_your_way_to_the_inauguration_/
I'm staying in New York for the inauguration, and plan to make lots of cookies and Obama Pasta (using O-shaped pasta and an organic mushroom and parmesan sauce) in honor of tomorrow's big day. And in the spirit of our new administration and the National Day of Service, I'm planning to volunteer at a local soup kitchen - we can all give our time by starting at www.usaservice.org. Yes We Can!

Apparently chili is Obama's favorite food to cook - so I'm going to make a big batch of spicy chili with some ground grass-fed beef! And cornbread!
