Flying in the face of some of its own scientists, the EPA released a draft regulatory document to the AP on Monday, stating that it would not mandate clean up of public drinking supplies, in spite of strong scientific evidence that perchlorate, a chemical found in rocket fuel and flares (and to date, water supplies in 35 states) is linked to thyroid problems in pregnant women and infants.
