Eating seasonally is good for your body, mind and wallet. Body: indulging in foods at the peak of their freshness means they are also at their tastiest and most nutritious. Check out 10 Reasons to Eat Local Food. Mind: Do the socially conscious thing by buying from local farmers. Wallet: Buying during the peak of a fruit or veggie’s ripeness means they will be quite abundant at the market-making their price very digestible indeed.
